The Phytonyx team has been involved in cultivating, researching, and breeding the finest varieties of cannabis for decades. Frosted Lime is an earlier finishing variety with a classic myrcene-dominant terpene profile. It runs from light green to deep indigo and has dense buds that produce copious amounts of oil. Our farmers in the Southeast US raved how these stout plants stood up to hurricane force winds and remained mold resistant despite historic rains.

Towering plants with massive flowers, Siskiyou Gold™ shows its Sativa heritage with a later finish and higher yields. Named after the rugged mountains of Southern Oregon, this variety has flourished in the humid southeast, the intermountain west and the arid southwest. During an extremely rainy season, Siskiyou Gold was virtually unaffected by mold and pests while other varieties in the same field failed. Now available in both early and late varieties.

Bred through a cross between Frosted Lime (TM) and Kush Hemp, the Frosted Kush is a compact,  earlier finishing high CBD hemp plant with dense, mold resistant flowers with that distinctive gassy myrcene, caryophyllene and limonene terpene profile. Originally released in the 2020 growing season, the Frosted Kush is a yearly contender for the best top-shelf CBD flower on the market.

A cross of the Siskiyou Gold™ with the Kush Hemp E1, this variety was released on a limited basis in 2019 and received rave reviews. Phytonyx originally developed our CBG line for limited release in Spring of 2020. Our breeding team identified the first of three CBG parental lines in late 2018, and  selected the best candidates for varietal development. During winter trials we selected the best F1 cross to provide our customers for the following seasons.

Our Serenity™ CBG has a nice terpene profile, and up to 14% total CBG at harvest, with peak CBG content typically reached in week 7 of flower. Type IV CBG hemp produces significantly less total THC than Type III CBD hemp varieties, and finishes earlier in the year, making it an excellent addition to the hemp farmer’s field composition.

After five successful seasons, Phytonyx is proud to offer premium varieties of high CBD and CBG feminized industrial hemp seeds for farmers everywhere.  Our original hemp strains were derived through pheno/chemo-selection with an array of sources from around the world.  Through our process of lab testing and field trials, we have gathered data for cannabinoid content and ratios as well as terpene profiles, vigor and resistance to pests and pathogens. As a result, we have crossed, tested, analyzed, selected and re-crossed to ensure our strains have the best possible performance in the field.
